Account & Login

Q: I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
A: On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Q: Can I change my email address?
A: Yes! Go to Settings → Profile → Email Address to update your email. You'll need to verify the new email address.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Please note this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Calendar & Events

Q: Why don't I see any events on my calendar?
A: Make sure you have:
  • Completed your profile setup
  • Selected your appropriate age group/skill level
  • Enabled calendar sync in settings
  • A stable internet connection
Q: Can I add personal events to the calendar?
A: Currently, the calendar displays BPVA academy events only. However, you can export events to your device's native calendar and add personal events there.
Q: How do I know if an event is cancelled?
A: You'll receive a push notification if an event is cancelled. Cancelled events will also be marked clearly in the app with a strike-through or "CANCELLED" label.
Q: Can I view past events?
A: Yes! You can scroll back in the calendar to view historical events and your attendance history.

Notifications

Q: I'm not receiving push notifications. What should I do?
A: Check these settings:
  1. Ensure notifications are enabled in your device settings for the BPVA Calendar App
  2. In the app, go to Settings → Notifications and verify your preferences
  3. Make sure your device isn't in Do Not Disturb mode
  4. Try logging out and back in
Q: Can I customize which notifications I receive?
A: Yes! Go to Settings → Notifications to choose which types of notifications you want to receive and set quiet hours.
Q: How do I turn off notification sounds?
A: This is controlled by your device settings. Go to your device's Settings → Notifications → BPVA Calendar App to adjust sound preferences.

Technical Issues

Q: The app is crashing. What should I do?
A: Try these steps:
  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Check if an app update is available in your app store
  3. Restart your device
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app (your data will be preserved)
  5. If the issue persists, contact support
Q: The app won't sync my data.
A: Try these troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Pull down to refresh on the home screen
  3. Log out and log back in
  4. Clear the app cache in Settings
